Nothing For Sale

I am bringing the world's largest tube dancer to Burning Man 2023. Think of the dancing inflatables at used car dealerships. One of those, but 60' tall and emblazoned with "NOTHING FOR SALE".

While the tube dancer is a symbol of commodification, it is also a joyous object, full of color and motion. "Nothing For Sale" liberates this symbol and its beauty while highlighting Burning Man's principle of Decommodification.

I have created a series of objects to help fund the piece, which I estimate will exceed $15,000 between fabrication, parts, power, transportation and more.
